SCT prograbable?

I may be able to pick up an SCT xcal 2 for 'cheap'...it's not loaded w/ diesel files but it's made for Ford vehicles, I believe it was used on a Mustang. If I get it can I send it in to DJ's or Innovative and have them reprogram it w/ custom tunes for my 6.0? I figure if I can get it for real cheap than I can pay for the diesel tunes and still come out under the new price? Maybe Mombenz or anyone else can chime in?

I know with DJs and Elite you get lifetime tunes for 150 if you already have the programmer. I just did the same thing. YOU WILL NEVER LOOK BACK. Good luck and keep strokin. Give Elite a call if you would like Tadd is a great guy.

the SCT will work with any vehicle that someone will write a tune for.....it has a maximum of 5 vehicles. If this tuner was used on 1...it has 4 left.

You can pay DJ's diesel one fee for tunes for life...no matter what mod changes you make.....the tunes are just emailed to you. All you have to do is pull your stratagy with the tuner (they will walk you through that if you can figure it out) and give them the serial number of the SCT tuner....its that simple...
