Some tunes run weird in the cold?

Today I drove my truck to the gym and it was building boost fine but kept falling on its face whenever I was on hills or if I nailed it. Keep in mind that it was like 30degrees out , I had let the truck warm up for like 5 mins and drove it for 20 mins before I nailed it. After I left the gym I let it get back up to temp checked it or codes and loaded extreme street from innovative and it is running perfectly normal. The tune that it was running weird on is from Texas and when its warm out is my favorite tune, and the one that it ran good on is from here in md.
