What kind of tuner for my new 6.0?

I just bought a 6.0 today and don't know anything about performance parts for it. I'm gonna keep it relatively stock except for a straight pipe, cold air intake and a mild tune. I'm not looking to make huge horsepower and start tearing stuff up though. I just want something to give it a little more power and better fuel economy. I know SCT is supposed to be the best, but I was wondering if there was maybe something cheaper out there that works well for what I want. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

No sir you have read right. An SCT with a custom tune will do you good. Look around and I'm sure you'll find some feedback on whos tunes are good better best etc.

Also, look in the forsale threads, used tuners pop up pretty often!

Other tuners can give you power, but in most cases do not offer transmission tuning with the power that you would be adding. The custom tunes that you can get from any of the great 6.0 tuners out there will give you more power, better driveability, mileage, and tune the tranny to match.
