What kind of tuner for my new 6.0?

I just bought a 6.0 today and don't know anything about performance parts for it. I'm gonna keep it relatively stock except for a straight pipe, cold air intake and a mild tune. I'm not looking to make huge horsepower and start tearing stuff up though. I just want something to give it a little more power and better fuel economy. I know SCT is supposed to be the best, but I was wondering if there was maybe something cheaper out there that works well for what I want. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

WELCOME!!!!

An SCT with custom tunes and a Power Hungry Performance FICM tuner would serve your needs. The cost of the air intake is a waste of money compared to the gains from just the FICM tuning.

Additionally post up your year and PCM strategy if you can.

Don't know anything about the PCM, but the year is '03. It's a 4x4 f250 auto.
