SCT3030 confusion by dealers

Going crazy trying to get the definitive answer as to if the 3030 comes with preloaded tunes, SCT website states it does, when I called a dealer to order one I was reminded that it has to be programmed. Another call to another dealer stated that it is indeed pre programmed just as the web site says. Said to myself that a third call would break the tie but the answer was they really did not know.

Should it really be this hard to find out, is there an SCT guru here, wait times for SCT tech help are extended and I understand this so soon after the Holidays.

not even sure wht the 3030 is. why not get the 5015 ts and have canned tunes that suck, gauges, and able to hold custom tunes.

05 ccsb king ranch. 4" turbo back,egr delete, studs, ccv, 58v ficm tuned by eric, little extra fuel pressure, livewire tuned by vivian, mtw stage 1, 175/75s, afe cold air. hid's,led's recon led lights 5% tint80% windshield tint, high idle mod,fog/bright mod, train horns, 4" lift on 20x10s on 35's

05 tnks for the reply, its advertised as a tune for economy gains only, no claim that it makes more power, the E series 6.0 is detuned big time due to lack of space for the stuff that lets you guys get the full monty-so this is why this product caught my eye.

The SCT 3030 is the Econ model, it's preloaded with Economy canned tunes. Running economy tunes have not yielded any MPG gain.

Lilpooh tnks, got through to SCT they say it is NOT preloaded

SCT Performance - SCT Ford Economizer Ford Programmer**Part Number: 3030

You do raise what is going on in my mind though, if it is 50 State legal, and does have the potential for 2-3mpg increase why doesn't Ford have this as the stock program?

SCT needs to get their chit together, their PDF manual says it IS pre-loaded.

Usually economy tunes will lower the factory HP output. The result is MPG loss do to power to weight. Less power moving the same weight.

You have a E-series, that is why it's not available to you.

SCT absolutely does support the '07 E series 6.0-according to SCT anyway; but then again the 3030 which is preloaded with E series tunes really isn't this also according to SCT

Maybe its better that I stop thinking of a tune and think more about either a Gear Vendors unit or changing the axle ratio

According to the link I posted, the 3030 doesn't support the E-series in a 6.0 diesel.
