03 6.0 Build
Hey guys
im in the planning stages of my build and i want to get some input from diffrent people who have been there done that type thing. alright soo some backround on my truck. 03 6.0 123k leveled on 35s. basically its bone stock besides exhuast. my plan. 600-650 horse on fuel only bulletproofing the 6.0 obviously compound turbos 225cc injectors.... leaning towards warren fuel system.. airdog150 input on a custom tune? as for a tranny i hear that the stock tranny can hold that for a while as long as its not being abused all the time. but i will be looking into a suncoast tranny in the near future now all imput negitive and positive will helpful. what eles would i need to be reliable.. again im hopeing for 600-650 horse.. thanks and sorry if im way off or missing somthing completely but thats why id like to ask before i find out the hard way -ryan |

I would do 205/100s or 210s. If you want 225s you are going to want to upgrade your oil system. with a s363/68/.83 with a s478 or s480

I'll second that. 225's are gonna drop icp big time. I had 205/100's and a 364/475 combo, plus a few other items and it ran great. But, I had a .76 divided t3 turbine, never got to try the .83 t4. On the big charger, get the 1.32 turbine housing, it runs less back pressure than the 1.10.
Oh, and don't waste your money on batmowheels, the cast work just fine. |

soo you think the 225s are going to be to big? from what i was reading they said thats what you needed to make the twin turbo work but if i can get away with 205s and not have to mess with the oil system thatd be great.. thanks again guys all info is appreciated

The adrenaline pump is available for the early trucks, so you would have to run one of those if you wanted 225s or go for dual pumps. But, 205/100s should have no problem getting you to your goal with plenty of turbo.

okay sweet 205s it is then.. now is there any prefence anyone has on witch tune i would be best off with runnin?

I know innovative diesel has done quite a few email tunes for compounds, but be ready to be back and forth with revisions. Every truck acts different.

yep every truck is different. but most of my set ups run good with Matt's tunes.

You could do a MTW stage 3 single vgt, upgraded fuel system and 205/100's and easily hit that goal.
