Resonator??

I put the VGT-SS last week in my truck and now the turbo whistle is really loud. I was wondering if i put a resonator in the exhaust, will that make the whistle a little bit quieter?

why would u want it to be quieter

its too high pitch and it kinda gets annoying after a while.

I'll take your turbo if you don't want it. I love my '03 high pitch whistle. But to answer your question, yes a resonator will quieten it a bit. I have my old one. I'll see if it was damaged any when I cut the downpipe off, if you want.

that's good to hear. May I suggest an sct xcal2/3 to make the best of that turbo. A resonator will quiet it down, a cat will also. sad to hear someone wants to quiet something so beautiful. lol
