Handshaker tunes
I have been pondering getting some more tunes I currently run srl+ but was curious if any tuners out there are better at tuning the trucks with zf6's compared to automatics? It would also be nice to hear what all the other fellow 6.0 zf drivers are running for tunes.

Yeah lots of guys run those just curious cause a lot of the tunes are written specifically for shift points like tow tunes they change the shift points and that is no advantage to use.

I just bought a truck with the ZF6 transmission and was wondering the same thing too. I'm planning on putting a Cummins in, however I was entertaining the idea of getting a tune until the swap happens. How do you like the SRL+ tune?

Have you looked into these guys yet, or at all, for our transmissions? They make a short shift kit that's supposed to be pretty good.

You could always talk to the tuner and explain that you have the manual transmission and they may be able to omit the whole transmission shift point and what not. It's worth a shot.

I believe that you have to do that anyway. Tunes written for an automatic wont run right in a manual truck.
