Just got my SCT x3, Holy $hit!

I actually got it Monday but when I called Vivian with my stategy she said it was old and suggested I get the truck re-programmed at the dealer. The new programming would work better with the SCT tunes she said. So, I did it today. Once I left the dealer I didn't want to wait to get the new strategy off to Vivian so I pulled into a parking lot and retrieved it for her. She confirmed that it was the latest and I went ahead and loaded the performance tune that came on the X3. I figured I'd run the canned tune until she can get me the custom tunes so I can compare. Holy $HIT!!!!! I can't take off without breaking the tires loose........Then I noticed at 75 my computer was regestiring 22 mpgs once I got on the HWY. The trip there at the same speed I was regestiring 16.5. I reset the MPG computer to validate and sure enough, 22! The computer is very accurate too.

If I get this kind of performance from a canned tune what is DJ's gonna be like....

I'm sorry I read about SCT for sooooo long without ordering but can honestly say that this is the single most impressive mod I have ever done to any vehicle bar none. As an added bonus I can now hear my 4 inch Magna Flow exhaust. Before it sounded stock......

Anybody on the fence get the hell off and order a SCT!

Yeah the SCT is AWSOME!!!!!! Just wait till you get the files from Vivian. It will blow your mind. But on a side note the computer is called the lie-O-Meter. Its 99% of the time wrong. Like mine says i am getting 23mph on the highway. but im only getting 16.22 hand calculate it.

As far as the MPG computer goes I beg to differ. Mine has been spot on. And yes I have checked it numerous times.

Dont worie about it in the wrong spot im sure one ofthe mods will move it for ya. Mine was on too alot of the time, but when i uploaded the sct it went crazy showing a really high number. from 12-16 to 22 most of the time.

It might have been spot on before but now that you reprogrammed the computer it will be off. I guarantee it.

yeah man, the onboard comptuer reads throttle postions and relates it to fuel flux. Since the SCT increases fuel pressure your computer is all outta wack. I drove around in my buddies dodge that makes 600HP and the comptuer said we were getting 23MPG and we were only getting about 17.5.

I'll never understand it. Mine still works as well as it ever did. If I reset it at fill-up and don't touch it until the next fill, it is always within a few tenths of the hand calculation. They are not accurate if you reset it even once between fill ups.
