I need help with my gauges!

Alright so here is the deal. I installed gauges in my truck and am havin two problems. One, I was told to put the power wires into one of the fuses for the ignition switch so the gaues would come in when the key was in. I did that and they contantly have power runnin through them even when the key is out. I even tried to run them through an accessoire such as the radio and still they got power at all times. Second, the night lights are supposed to be ran into the headlight switch. Did this and they wont come on. Plugged them into the ignition to see if thet worked and they did. I am stumped. Any help would be appreciated. Oh and last but no least. Where in the heck it he MAP line for my boost gauge. I have no idea where it is!

Did you buy the gages new? And what year is you truck and engine?

Yes the gauges are brand new and I have and early 03 6.0.

Sweet that helps! Now what about the MAP line I dont know where that is!

Not sure on the 6.0. I think on the 6.0 the map sensor is just left of the oil fill for the engine.

OK way off subject and im sorry im new to this site but how do i create a new thread??i was wanting to post one to find out how i can make my turbo scream i want it as loud as can be... ive heard of taking out the silencer ring but i dunno where it is and what not
