Terrible turbo lag going from Bully dog to SCT

My turbo lag is terrible. I loaded the SCT TS with Vivians Loony tune today and have less power than with the bully dog and the turbo lag is terrible. Is there something that can be tweaked into the tune to reduce lag?

I find it hard to believe that a custom tune is being out performed by a canned tune from a bullydog programmer. Also it has been proven before that even though you return it to stock with the bullydog it can leave some parasitic parameters in the PCM and the only way to get rid of them is to have a new fresh stock file loaded from the dealer.

The computer was reflashed today before I loaded the tune. There is a noticeable difference in power between the two.

Did you reflash it at the dealer or did you just reflash it through the bullydog programmer?

Why would you have the dealer do it if there wasn't any underlying problems?

I removed the bully dog tune with the programmer first and loaded the SCT program and my truck ran terrible. I emailed Vivian and she told my to go have the computer reflashed to stock settings because the BD leaves remnants in the computer, so I did. Then loaded the SCT tune again and the truck runs great at normal operation but when I get into it it has terrible lag that was not there with the BD.

lol no tranny will never forgive you. I have never ran vivians tunes but have heard nothing but great things about her but I have ran gearhead and idp tunes on a factory truck vs. and edge programmer and have to say there is no comparison and I put the bullydog in the same category as the edge.

So talk to Vivian and have her tweak the tune. We can't really do anything to help the situation. First crack at a mail order tune is rarely perfect.
