monitor or gauges

Ok so I have 04 f250 getting ready to have Eric do a custom tune just their light one until I get the truck studded. Anyway I'm debating between can some kind of monitor like act livewire, edge Ct or cts, bullydog, and banks also make one. Or the other way of getting gauges I would probably get a quad a pillar. So just wondering what other ppl have used on here and like or if u get tell me what to stay away from. Thanks in advance.

A monitor can view parameters that regular gauges can't which is more important. I have 4 on the pilar and a monitor also.

I have dashboss, but you need an Ios device (ipad, Ipod, iphone) for it to be used.

I would recommend doing the price coverage.

-Find out what you want to monitor.
-Price check it all. to include pillar.

Then look at monitors, and more than likely the price will be comparable. If you are going to hard wire at least four gauges...

If I was to get gauges, it would be for a device not in the monitors capabilities..such as the limited edition "wife meter" this sensor plugs in under the front passenger seat, and tells you the mood she is in...great investment..

you can read DTC with a monitor as well..another sell point.

Be advised you listed the SCT Livewire, that is also a programmer..and probably a reason on why it costs more than just a monitor.
