Where to start

Want to get moving on upgrading my stock rig(03' F250 6.0 FX4) first off is a larger exhaust system needed before installing any performance items? Second...after research and reading posts I think that the SCT livewire is my choice, affordability, performance, expandability and reliability seems to be what everyone raves about, did I leave anything out? Third, I realize that monitoring gages are a must but do they need to be in place prior to any other mods. I guess what I should be asking is what is the first priority? TIA, Tom

Here is the order that I am going. Exhaust, Zoodad, Guages, Programmer, Water Meth, Intake.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing as westcoaststroken except maybe go with the guages first and then the exhaust. I think I want to know my vitals at stock before doing the add-ons.
