A looney tune isn't what you call 'real' power? If not then your truck isn't running right or to the best of the tune's abilities.

Innovative Diesel's Xtreme Race and DJ's Looney Tune are probably the "safest" high power tunes out there. I say "safest", because anything can break, even stock.

A tuner can really crank it up, but a non heavily modded truck probably wouldn't last 500 miles.

If you like the Looney, cool. Do the studs, intake, upgrade the turbo, consider water/meth and/or N2O... Then have them tweek your tune to match.

oh dont get me wrong, this looney tune is insane. i love it and when i said real power i meant proven, not seat of the pants dyno. im used to the dodge cummins forum from my last truck and everyone loved to claim HUGE numbers till they put it on the dyno then it was another story. i kinda figured all the sct custom tunes produced about the same numbers but figured id ask.

EDIT: I have NOT used the Looney Tune.

But if you want numbers,

My rig is estimated at 8000#, it was weighed in at 7990 with me in it, bit it gained weight since.

My 1/4 mile times are...1.8 sixty foot, 14.14sec at the 1/4 @ 94.8mph. You can see my mods in my sig.

I am waiting on a new race file from Innovative Diesel that will hopefully pit me in the 13s. Then over the winter I am doing more engine mods that when done will allow more power and even quicker times. These times are done with my Xtreme Race tune which i keep for the track. I daily drive on an Xtreme Street file which is a little tamer.

Those are my numbers, there are better ones out there with the same file or different. I have seen an 03 run high 13s easy on just the Xtreme Street file.
