BPD FICM question

I looked on their site and I didnt see the answer, nor did I see it here. If I am going to need an FICM in the future, it seems like the BPD is just a little more in cost than having it repaired, and the consensus is it will last forever. With that being said does BPD add the atlas tune to the FICM or will I need to do somthing else? I only want the Atlas 40 so I dont need the tuner.

NO they don't.

First of all when they send you a FICM, they send you a half shell that does NOT have the ficm tune written on it. You will need to make one FICM out of yours and their piece.
Thus you will keep the FICM tune that is on your OEM ficm right now.

To get your FICM tuned by like PHP, you will still need their portable borrowed unit or purchase a tuner

Very true. But if you happen to know anyone else with a FICM tuner that is close to you. Bill can unlock theirs to where you can get the tune that way.

Thanks guys. I might as well send mine off to get tuned then. My FICM is fine right now. since I am swapping the power side the tune will stay with the logic side of the FICM.

Yes sir. And if I'm not mistaking he also would be able to use it to roll back a ECM also with the FICM turner

If you just want one tune, to me that would be the way to go. No wait period for a tuner you have to send back. Glad to see I made your day.
