Atlas 80 installed and in...

Ive been having some issue's with my ficm lately. Has been dropping dow to 39 volts on start up. And I noticed the batt volts was hangin around 11.6-8. Ive been limping it along and even had a gentleman from NM offer to send me his spare. But when a 7 pin that had been recently redone by FICMREPAIR.com with the ATLAS80 already in it poped up,I figured the kids have enough for Christmas and whiped out the cash. Got a very good deal on it from another gentlman from LA.
Got it all installed, fired the truck up and Tina (my truck) let out a big ole black fart stumbled once and smoothed right out. FICM volts are now 47.5-48, batt volts are now 13.6-8. But the real cool thing is,mpg's have gone from 11.8(if I was lucky) to 15.3! And they were still climbing. I did notice my EGT's are very quick to climb as well.
Im calling this FICM a total sucsess. Thanks to the other 2 guys involved with this whole thing. U know who you are.

I just got my FICM back from Ed last week. Had the Atlas 80 put on mine as well and HOLY COW! Its a completely different truck. Its a monster! As for fuel economy, there is NO WAY I gained MPG's...I can't keep my foot outta the skinny pedal. I'll be purchasing tires soon.

Last nite had the family heading to the kids Christmas pagent. I was getting a bit tired of waiting on traffic when that magical gap in the cars opened up (u know the gap that if u want it u better grab it NOW). So I smashed her turned left and the most wonderfull sound of 4 bfg all terrains howl came out of the back! My wife had that .....that look u know what I mean. But in the back seat was my 13 year old boy and he had the other look and a big azz smile!

It is good to see that all of you are pleased with the ATLAS setup on your trucks! I couldnt help but to die laughing about "the look" as i get it from kelly every time she is about to fall asleep in the truck

I got my FICM tuner from PHP befor any other tuning. It made a big difference just on the atlas 80. I not run the atlas 80 with IDP xtreme street and, my truck will easilly roast the 4 315's out back.

If a simple ficm has done this much for the truck I cant wait to actully get some kind of a tune on it. But right now thats all spanish (dont quite understand it)

Got a question would it be okay to get 6 phase from bullet proof and have the alts 80 programmed to my ficm with out studs
