Need opinions!

I bought a 03' turbo to put on my truck. I haven't had a chance to install it yet and the other day, I was talking to a guy about it and he said that he would buy it from me for $500. As a lot of you know, I recently lost my job, so it would be nice to have the money. But, I really want to put the turbo on.

My buddy from back home said that $500 is what they are selling for with the proper pedestal. I'm not sure if this guy really has the money or not. If he showed me the cash, I'd probably let it go.

To be honest, I've been contemplating on selling my whole truck... What would y'all do?

I'm not looking for any mods!!!!!!!!! I already had the Turbo, just haven't installed it.

If you have the part and he cannot show you the money I would install it. Give you something to do while job hunting! Good luck finding work!

toys always come second to me.....if i was hurting for cash....for bills then i would go ahead and sell....but if your just tight on cash for fun stuff just hold off.....selling the truck would be a different story....if ur gonna sell dontt plan on buying another truck once u get a job....you have a lot done to just start over....

I went from making $1600/wk to nothing. I spent most of my savings to bulletproof my truck before I knew I was getting laid off. The rest is almost gone after being out of work for 2 months. Damn bills! You take for granted a lot when money isn't a worry.

I know what you mean. I'm not hurting for cash just yet, but if I don't find something real soon I'll be selling organs on the black market...

I would try and hold off as long as you can, if money gets to tight you gotta do wat you can....try and keep someone on hold...that way if it does get to the point where u need to sell, u have some one lined up....but selling now, without needing it, will only make you want to do it over down the road when you have the money...
