Piece O crap Edge EGT probes

So I bought a CS and a EGT probe back in May. In September it would always read between 68-97 degrees. I called edge and they sent me another probe. Guess what nothing changed . I called edge again , they sent me my third EGT probe STILL FRIGGIN READING THE SAME. edge has sent me 2 bad probes. Has anyone else experienced a bad probe? I even plugged my CS into my buddies truck and his into mine and its definitely the probe.

2006 F350 Reg cab 4x4 blacked out, ARP studs, EGR delete,Sinister coolant filter,Blue Spring,Edge CS,SCT with SPD, php hercules ,Zoodad, 4'' turbo back straight , 8" tip, airaid intake, 6" lift , billestiens,35's, 18's , 08 bumper , 08 tailgate , Harley Heads, Custom made traction bars.

I have seen mine drop to 80-90 degrees a couple times but it goes really long periods without doing it. I've thought about calling Edge but it's such a random problem and occurs rarely I don't think it's worth my time.

i had a probe that started off just cruising down the road would just all of a sudden peg out to 2000 degrees. after a couple more days it got worse to as soon as i started the truck i would go up to 2000 and every now and then would fluctuate around. i called edge they over nighted me a new probe and haven't had a problem since.

Are you using an expandable probe setup or the non-expandable one. To have 3 probes all bad and reading the same temp makes me think it is something else. If you are using an expandable probe it could be a wiring issue in the accessory cable. Since all they are reading is voltages I wonder if the wire is bad in your accessory cable.

It's the non expandable probe . I called edge and they want me to send them my CS and my third probe. They're not gonna send me another one out until they get mine in and inspect it. This is BS now I'm gonna have a hole in my manifold I have to plug as well as no way to monitor anything.

That might be the best option at this point for you. Just put the stock tune back on your truck and send your unit it.

Lucky for me it's only an insight so I don't have to worry about tuning. Plus while its getting sent in I'm upgrading to the cts

Good luck, man. Edge sent me a new unit after mine failed to update properly. I had it literally the next day and just shipped them back my old unit. Fast, easy and AWESOME to deal with.

Im on my second probe for my CTS mine will show 200 degrees then go straight to 2000 and back and forth
