upgraded turbo injector question

i am in the midst of looking at trucks again, more specifically a 6.0

i have found one here on the site, that i happen to know the owner, and it is a very STRONG possibility of buying this truck. It currently has some good mods. I am under the understanding he is still running stock injectors, but i was thinking of giving it a bit more fuel and reliably making 500+ rwhp. It currently has a MTW Stage 2 hybrid (batmowheel and 10 vane ('03) exhaust wheel, 64.7mm/88mm .58 a/r). On the stock turbo he made 430rwhp and 918 rwtq. he added the turbo and hasnt gotten any new numbers but is confident he will do 450-475rwhp. what injectors should be installed to match the power potential of the turbo, and hit the magical 500rwhp mark?

his current mods are Head Studs, SCT X3 w/TSD custom tunes, Insight CTS w/EAS egt and Turbo Timer, Hercules 100 FICM tune by Bill at PHP, S&B CAI, GoGo Solenoid, ZooDad, 4" turbo back duals, Blue Spring, 6.4 Banjo's, MTW Stage2 hybrid turbo.

can anyone shed any insight on what I am looking at and what is needed? This isnt going to be for any super heavy towing, but will occasionally pull a small trailer, and make lowes runs.

You're gonna want a set of 175/50s with that turbo and you should safely be over 500hp. This is of course assuming that the rest of the truck is healthy for fuel supply and oil supply as well as the right tuning.

My question though is, is the turbo a MTW Stage 2 or a MTW Hybrid?? It can't be both LOL. Anyways though, I would ask what your overall goal is for the truck?? Do you have to tow with it?? Etc. Figure out what you want the truck to do and build it right the first time. Hope this helps.

I talked to bill over at PHP a little but ago and he said same as you, 175/50's an he said the stock injectors would be good for about 475-480rear wheel but will be maxed out, but 175's will definitely take me over the 500 mark on a daily driving truck. He is familiar with said truck an my goals

Ok thanks for the insight. It's just the hybrid, not a "stage 2 hybrid" can someone explain to me where in the mix the hybrid sits? Meaning is it like a combo of the stage 1 and stage 2? Stage 2 and 3? Or what? I am kind of confused about it.. What is max boost of the hybrid?

x2 on the 175cc

I know the theory behind the hybrid was to move the same air as a stage 2 with the minimal lag of the stage 1

The Hybrid turbo uses a billet version of the Stage 2 compressor wheel but uses a modified stock compressor end and a tweaked turbine end. It spools as fast as stock and builds low to mid 30s for boost on most trucks.
