SCT HELP
Just received my SCT SF3 yesterday and did all the necessary updates then installed with the performance canned tune.. I plan on ordering the race tune from Tony Wildman on Monday. Anyways after the install I drove it around pretty easy last night before I got on it and it was like day and night!! Well today I took my stepson for a ride and when a approached the freeway on ramp I nailed it. About the time it hit fourth gear I lost power for a brief moment. Let off and everything was fine. Should I be worried about anything or is that just a side effect of canned tunes?

Where about exactly? It is not uncommon to have a 3-5 shift hesitation (yeah, yeah, you said 4th, but that's a whole different subject). This flare at the top of 3rd shifting into 5th can be over come with a direct clutch solenoid from Go-Go Diesel.
Without any more details, that's all I have to offer.

Sorry for being so vague Its the first time its ever happened. I guess your right it hesitated around that time from 3rd into 5th. The engine basically lost power till I let off. I got on it a little while later and it was fine.

your transmission goes into adaptive relearn when u reflash
it will act weird until thats done
