what a joke

lastnight i pulled my sct out cause im having cold start problems and put my edge back in to see if the problem continued. edge worked fine and no cold start problems but what a joke that evolution is compared to the sct. i mean theres no comparison. if anyone is thinkin about another tuner, dont do it and stick with sct. by far the best for power and mileage. just wanted to give a little fyi for everyone.

ETA - talk to your tuner if you use custom tunes. They can help with the cold start problem.

OK, so let's make sure I understand you correctly...
The Edge tuner is a joke, but the truck will not start with the SCT so the SCT is the better one?
I am confused, but what the heck, my stock 7.3 pulls 10,000 lbs no problem and starts every time.

no he is stating that he is having cold start issues with the custome tunes with the SCT, but the SCT has way more power than the edge and the edge cant compare power wise......

yeah what he said lol. i talked to dj's and there tryimg to figure out what the problems is. hope they find it quick so i can take the edge off.

no. it even does it on 50 or 60 degree mornings. i usually dont plug in untill it hits in the 30's.

Yeah Last winter I had to take my sct off, because it would chug and run horribly when cold. My hypertech doesnt do that at all, nice starting...

so did you get it fixed? or you still runnin the hypertech?

I ended up switching because of the economy the hypertech gets compared to the smoke rolling sct, not as much fun, but makes more sense for my budget.
