Just did the 4" turbo back full delete from MBRP and right now no tip added and it sounds outstanding could not sound better, good suttle sound at idle and great roar when driving strong.

Got the exact same thing.
Whats the major difference when putting on a tip? does it cut down on the turbo whistle or basically increase the total sound or cause it to have a deeper tone.

I am completely satisfied with my 4inch but wouldnt mind a little change

I have a 4" turbo back Magnaflow, full delete.
I used a pair of 45* 4" elbows, and a 7" tip, and dumped it in front of the rear tire.
She whistles like crazy at low speeds, noticeable hum at cruise, and absolutely howls at WFO. Love it.
I get comments all the time that it sounds like a 747 coming in for a landing.
