Edge Platinum

Hey

I just recently got a edge juice platinum w/ attitude given to me and I installed it in my truck.. It really woke it up but there is no smoke.

does anybody know what setting to run it on to get the most smoke? I tried number 5 on extreme and still no smoke?

Thanks.

Nick

(the truck is a 2006 f260 6.0 powerstroke.

Alright, you can be my test subject for the nicer and more cuddly me.

You don't want smoke, trust me. It may look cool to you, but it's not. For one, it's just unburnt fuel, 2: smoke makes diesels look bad and is bringing stricter emissions standards from the EPA and is the reason companies have suspended producing programmers. If smoke is what you're after, don't ask it here, it's frowned upon and with good reason. If you want to learn about your truck and how to make more power, welcome to the org.

Here's a tip, ditch the edge, and go with a custom tuned SCT. The edge will kill your transmission.

Why do you want smoke? That's just money going out your tailpipe.

Please tell me this is a joke. Smoking is no good what so ever so why would you want to do it. When you "roll coal" and smoke people out all it does is piss people off. The EPA is already up our azzes to keep smoke and emissions down so please do not feed them. Not to mention, smoking is hell for your truck, it is bad on the turbo and everything else. You will cause a problem by smoking, and everyone here hates it. If you really must have smoke, do it in private and put a Walmart bag over your intake.

Like Fantom stated it is a good thing you didnt ask this question a few days ago or you would have been tongue lashed like never before. We on the org are trying to take a different approach to these questions as it is a VERY touchy subject here. There is not one good thing about smoke, its a waste of fuel and gets the tree huggers all fired up and then they come at us with the EPA with all sorts of new regulations. All you have to do is look at all the pending legislation coming down the line. So please take to heart the replies you get and think twice about rollin coal.

you should be trying to make smoke free power. yea it might look cool but all it is is unburnt fuel coming out your exhaust. I get a little smile when I step on it and the most I see is a slight haze. Although it is useful for people tailgating (im as guilty as anybody), all it does is make others frown on our engines and make life harder for the guys with emissions controlled trucks
