Edge CTS monitor?

O.K. I'm about to take the plunge and get a digital monitor. The ultimate goal is to have Pyro, EOP, and Fuel Pressure on analog pillar mount. The pillar mount will have 4 mounts. The bottom would be for the Edge CTS or similar. The problem is that there is to much month at the end of the money to buy this whole set up in 1 run. Instead I'm looking at getting the digital monitor 1st and then add the gauges and pillar mount as I get the money.

So I'm looking for suggestions on the digital monitor. I DON"T HAVE AN IPHONE and won't be eligible to upgrade for more than a year. I have an SCT X3 that has tunes in it.

As money is tight, is there any reason to not buy at Amazon and save $67.00?

Get the edge cts for now. It comes with a window suction cup and run that until you can buy the pillar pod, once ya do that the. Move your cts to the pillar. Ps.... There is a guy selling one used in the for sale section

I got the CTS monitor a couple of months ago, and I'm really happy with it. The add-ons you are planning will be very easy to do when you're ready to do so. Enjoy!

No iPhone!!! That's OK, DashBoss also works with iTouch, iPad and iPad Mini. You can pick up a used iTouch for around $50.


If your looking for just monitor capabilities and don't want to use a iOS device, check out ScangaugeII. Not as fancy as a digital screen, but gets the job done.

I have an Edge CTS and am very happy with it. If you get one I shopped around and found it on autoanything.com for a less than other places.

I did buy the fancy dash pod to the tune of 45 bucks but wasn't impressed with how it fit so ended up using the suction cup.

It monitors everything you need, I would suggest buying the EGT probe so you can read that as well.

this upsets me too. Bad enough you have to have it painted to match if not gray....but the unit hits the grab handle when the pod is mounted properly.....what a waste.

Mine is in the center console in storage and I use the suction cup too...that continues to fall off the cold windshield.

I'm looking to mount this in a gauge pod on a 4 pod pillar mount. Any problems with mounting it in a pod like this where the grad bar is removed?

I've had the cts for a while now and love it. In the interior section you can see all the places you can mount it. The new update also does back pressure fwiw

im looking at the cts as well right now and need to pull the trigger very soon...need to know oil and coolant temp like NOW!...LOL im sure you guys know why

anyways i have an iphone 4s and most likely will have the next one thats comes out and im willing to spend $400 on a monitor.... im new here and to diesles....

What do i get??? i will also get the egt probe with whatever one i get
