I got my new high output alternator put on tonight. I whent with a mechman large case high output. Shipping was pretty good and when I first got it I relized it had the wrong pulley. But I called and talked to the owner and he overnight me the correct pulley. For the price this thing is not touchable.

i'll bite. already changed the stock one for a bosch along with two new batteries. went from 1000 cca interstates to 850 interstates under warranty. they said the "plates" wete thicker and might work better for me. dont know if its true or just snake oil. after i get my quote, i'll compare it to the favorites i have saved to compare price and voltage.

Dc power is sweet but ALOT more money than this alt… it puts out 100 amps at idle and 200 at 1100 rpm it's a large case 6g not a normal small case… billet aluminum pulley and is holding 14.2 volts at idle een with all the electrical **** I have added and dual aftermarket fuel pumps that pulled my stock system down to 12.1 volts… two year unlimited mileage warrant, hand built in Knoxville Tennessee, oh and guess what it cost me less than $200

They have you do a quote because there site is under reconstruction… I used to run there alts in my huge car audio setups that pushed over 4000 watts rms

Hey Dale, check these guys out. They are local in Boyertown, with a lifetime warranty. I got both my alternators (dual) from them.
