Diamond eye 4" TB fitment

Hey guys. I bought a 4" turbo back with muffler for my step dad for Christmas. We will be installing it on his 03 f350 dully. I had no idea what to get him for Christmas so I decided to order this. I went with a muffler cuz he bought this truck to pull his 37ft camper and that's all it does. So I figured the muffler would keep it a little quieter. I'll be installing this for him. Is there anything that will be a problem while doing this. I know I had problem clearing my 4" DP on my 6.4 but never done a 6.0. Also the truck is a crew cab long bed so I hopefully I don't have to do any trimming to the exhaust. Thanks for the help

You will still need to cut the down pipe unless you drop the trans cross member I believe. I usually just cut it because its easier but leave the down pipe bolt to the turbo and cut as far up as you can, then unbolt the down pipe off the turbo and it will drop down. Only other issue you will have is the 4" diamond eye down pipe is tough to get up there. When I did my first diamond eye kit it took me at least 3 hours to get the top section up there, and supposedly the 03-04 are tighter than the 05 and newer but that's just hear say. It will rip the firewall material but you can smooth it back out.

While doing the install on the driveway of another member, we had it swapped in under an hour. We had zero issues with the DP fitment. Good luck though...

We cut the DP at the bend to the cat. Now keep in mind that I deleted the cat so that point of cutting made no difference to me. If you utilizing the cat, adjust you cutting point accordingly.

I used a diamond eye 4" tb on my cc lb and didnt have to cut anything i actually had an extra 2 foot piece of tubing. Mine is an 05, the down pipe was a little difficult to get in but i had it all done in and hour or so in my stone driveway by myself. I just scrapped the old one so i cut it up into manageable pieces. Goodluck
