wish i would have done more reseach on sct

today i ordered a sct 3015 from xtream diesel..and on there web site i took it as that the canned tunes on the sct would turn off my egr..called them today and come to find out a few weeks ago they stopped that option..guess im gonna have to get custom tunes huh?

Yes you probably will, but let me tell you the canned tunes cannot compare to custom tunes. The custom tunes are much stronger, smoother and more efficient.

Custom tunes are amazing! You will have a hard time wiping the smile off your face once you drive the truck tuned

OP, you will NOT regret the custom tunes! Just know that custom tunes are ALOT better then canned tunes.

I don't use the canned tunes anymore after getting some custom ones written. I now wish I had gotten the SCT that didn't have any canned tunes, as it was cheaper and I could have saved money.

well since i bought the sct 3015 how does this work? will i have to send the sct to someone? or they write the file and send to me? best place or a good place i can trust?

You call or email the tune writer of your choice and they will give you the run down on all the info they need from you. Once they have that they will write your tune file and email it to you. You then load it onto the device via SCT's software on you computer and then load it to the truck and voila your custom tuned!

thanks again all...one more ? i have been all over the internet looking for info on this sct sf3 3015...i didnt know there was a (R) version...on some web site they dont say nothing about a egr delete option...on other web sites they have a pdf file that showes that it does have the egr delete option..im guessing with the preloaded tunes that comes with it will have that option but if not i can have a custom tune from any of the powerstoke.org venders make me custom files that will shut it off?
