Turbo ?

I want a couple questions answer
First do any of the MTW turbos whistle like the power max.
Second is the power max with batmowheel better than a hybrid?
I'm buying a turbo for my 6.0 but can't decide which route to go, I want the whistle of the pmax but have seen a lot of pole with a MTW

The powermax whistles like that because of the 10 blade wheel. The Hybrid comes standard with a 13 blade wheel but I'm sure if you requested it then Adrian would build it with a 10 blade. He actually built one like that on accident and if you look thru the almost 70 pages of the Hybrid review thread, there is a video of the truck running and it whistles insanely loud. Strokin6L is the guys screen name. It has been stated that the 13 blade is more efficient FYI. Also the Hybrid is the same price as the powermax but it is bigger AND it comes with a Batmowheel included! I don't think there's any reason why someone would go with the Powermax over a Hybrid.

To set this straight, if you want Adrian to build you a turbo with a 10 blade wheel in it you need to send him one that already has a 10 blade wheel, meaning either an 03 or a Powermax. The 10 blade wheel is slightly larger and contoured differently than the 13 blade wheel and they are not interchangeable. It would take way to much machining to put a 10 blade wheel into a 13 blade housing for zero gain so he just doesn't do it.

I'll have some 1/4 stats in about a week of the Powermax with Batmowheel vs MTW Hybrid on an otherwise stock engine 06.
