Got my 03' turbo, Finally! And this?

I've been looking for an 03' turbo for a while now and came across this one. Funny thing is that I just got it and a couple people have already gotten in touch with me wanting to buy it from me. One was a joke offer, but another guy offered me $600...

I'm pretty sure I won't sell it. The hole time I was searching I couldn't find one less than $600 with the pedestal, even on Ebay...

People keep telling me that I should get a better turbo with more boost, cause it's faster and has more power. I really don't want a race truck and think it's kinda funny when people want to race me. That's why I have cars, these trucks are for towing, not racing. Don't get me wrong, I like to push the skinny pedal and test her out. My grandpa always told me "Never race your tow vehicle, because your race car can't pull the trailer with your tow vehicle on it." I know if the power is there, I'm going to use it. I don't want to have to dish out more coin to fix something or pay for a ticket.

With proper tuning on the better turbo you won't hurt anything and would run cooler EGT's. Just a thought.

But, I heard I won't get the same turbo whistle? That's the only reason I got this.

Powermax will give you the same if not louder. Could also do a Batmowheel to get the whistle.

hey i do you remember hearing my truck at that meet. i have a MTW stg 1 03' turbo and it still whistles its butt off, s*** you should hear it now that i have 5" exhaust it sounds like a damn f16. id get a hold of Madpowerstroke AKA "Adrian" and see if you can still get one of his stg1's with a 10 blade wheel. as far as worrying about breaking it don't. with bullet proofing you have done you aren't gonna hurt anything. with good tuning you will find yourself not running the truck as hard cause you won't need to cause the truck will move around and do what you want effortlessly, plus better fuel mileage. if you can wait till next g2g which hopefully is soon you can hear my turck again and ill take you for a ride show you what it can do.

Yeah my powermax whistles like crazy I have never personally heard an 03 turbo but dang is my powermax loud I can try to post a video quick that's just idling give it some throttle and it screams.

My Powermax with a Batmowheel isn't anywhere near the whistle I had with the 03 turbo. I have never heard a Powermax that came close to the whistle of my 03 turbo and I've hear a few. If you want the 03 turbo whistle get an 03 turbo. Plain and simple. If you want a turbo that performs get something else.

I'm waiting for adrain to make my 03 into a stage 1 should have it back this week can't wait to annoy the neighbors even more. Know I just need a core injector broke one of my ferrels at the top oh well junkyard run this weekend ya
