Low Boost

Ok, my truck is running a powermaxx turbo with the SRLXX tune and last night I launched it for the first time and it only made 23 pounds of boost. I know it should make more than that and before it would make more just giving it some hell while cruising. What should I try? All in the tune or should I try some injectors to get the turbo going?

Ask matt if he tuned it down since you have stock studs.
If you wanna get that turbo going more than I suggest a ported intake manifold

I say it's all in the tune I run a very similar setup and on Matt's srl it hits about the same boost numbers but load up innovative a extreme street and ill smack 30 pounds no problemo try another tuner. All trucks react differently to tunes.

What egt's are yall running with the powermax? Cruising at 65-70 in od? How is the low end power also? Thanks

If I remember right on flat in od I'm at about 600 degrees been a while since a highway cruise. Even on race tunes I can't get my egts to go over 1100 degrees. Truck is zf6 equipped egt probe in drivers side manifold

Oh yeah and low end power is a bit laggy depending on tunes like innovative has a light switch effect and Matt's srl is very smooth and has better low end power.
