Want to change from Bullydog to SCT....Help

I am a noob when it comes to diesels, just got my first one. I just bought a 2004 F350 6.0 2WD friday. The truck has 140k on it and the dealership said it has already had the head studs done and egr delete. Is there any way for me to check this?......The reason for this thread is the truck has a bullydog outlook monitor on it but no tuner and from what I have read its not the best option for my tranny. I called bully dog and they told me I cant tell what tune I have without the tunner. Therefore I would like to get a SCT tuner and keep the outlook monitor. Can someone tell me my best options? How do I remove the bullydog tune? SCT tunner to get? Helpful links? Anything else I might need to know?

Take truck to ford and get latest softwares installed and that will delete program. And any sct product is fine. I have the cheaper handheld with innovative tunes and i love them. I also have the bully dog monitor.

Call your local ford dealer, PCM flash can be $100-$150 give or take $25.

In the link below has pics of studs and EGR delete.
How to identify mods

I would but I honestly think the owner of the lot thought it was done. Ill just keep my fingers crossed and start saving. Im hopeing I will not have a problem. My fire dept has an 04 f350 6.0 and it has never missed a beat and it pulls about 10000# 24/7
