Got my gauges!
So i finally got my gauges in and I am havin some trouble. For starters the boost gauge has a clear line with a T on the end that is supposed to tap into a hose somewhere. The instructions arent too clear so I dont know where it is and second is it gonna be safe. It seems to me that it might get blown off to easy. I have seen people tap directly into the turbo pipe but I would rather not do that just cause the hole wasnt on the truck when I bought it. Also the trans temp isnt too clear on exactly what I am supposed to do either so any help would be greatly appreciated.

The T goes into the MAP line. Just cut it, and insert. you can put a couple of small hose claps on there if it seems loose.
The tranny line will go into the test port on the driver's side I believe. I am trying to remember if it is in the same loaction as the 5R110s. or not. What year is your truck? |

Oh ok, duh huh...If I looked at what section this was in. Yeah, there is a test port on the driver's side of the tranny, it just looks like a little bolt, I think it is an 8mm. Not sure though. Take it out, and put the probe in.
