Straight piped or Muffler?

Just curious how many people are running straight piped exhaust vs a muffler. I bought the muffler delete pipe for my truck because I heard a lot about how great the 6.0 sounds straight piped. After two days of driving it that way I put the muffler back on because I couldn't stand it.

Straight pipe 03 turbo. I tossed my magnaflow muffler in the scrap pile. I had the muffler on several times and I didn't like it at all

I was straight pipe for a year or so but finally wanted to quiet her down some so I put on a Donaldson muffler and couldn't be happier.

Started off with cat delete and muffler on, Summit brand. Then went to straight pipe, and never looked back!

I thought without the muffler the exhaust note was to raspy and high pitched. With the muffler it's got a great low tone growl and screams when I step on it.

I ran straight pipes on my 06 F250 that I had. It sounded great around town but the hum got old on a long trip. I have an MBRP muffler on my excursion and it has a nice sound and it's too loud.

Strait thru flowmaster muffler here, quite when I want it be and screams when I'm on the go pedal. Only think I don't like is the hiss when idling.

Took my magnaflow off. Drove down the street straight piped, turned around and put my muffler back on.
