tuner question for a work truck

My dad just started thinking about getting some mods, and has talked to a guy at a local muffler shop about it. He was told to go with exhaust, intake and Bully Dog triple thing. I think the factory intake will be fine.

My concern is, first, he absolutely does not want the truck to be any louder. Quiet would be better. He uses the truck for work and towing a 5thwheel camper. He needs something easy to use and I think a tuner/module with built in gauge functions would be best. Also, does any of these modules come with a cool down timer function? What do ya'll recommend?

well if he doesn't wanna be any louder, he is not gonna wanna do anything to the exhaust. Once you cut stuff out or make stuff bigger it instantly get's louder. He could always throw in another cat if he wants. lol no im jk im not sure if you can do that but that would make it pretty quiet. lol As for a module with a built in gauge I would recommend, as I bite my tongue, the edge juice platinum. My buddy has one on his 05' and he likes it, and it does have a turbo timer on it. I personally would run edge before banks, bullydog, quadzilla...etc.

I would go Livewire, then Edge Evo II

His intake should be okay -- but I'd have him get a 4" exhaust, but leave the CAT and Performance MUFF in to keep it quiet, but help with EGT's.
