h&s xrt pro.. egr delete really CONFUSED!

ok im gonna make a really long story short..i have a 06 f250 6.0...been having egr insuffecent flow problems since i bought it.. so after several times of back and forth i decided to tell them to get me a tuner and a delete kit.. and i will install the delete kit (didnt trust the garage).. thought they would buy a sct tuner to shut off the egr till i delete it.. well ended up getting a h&s xrt pro..they installed the tuner and the light was off..well got it home today and i was fooling with it.. returned it to stock then reinstalled..none of the times i did this did the tuner prompt to turn off the egr?? did i get screwed again? after i returned it to stock form do i need to disconnect the battery and reconnect to get it back to original? or when the xrt was installed it automatically turned off the egr?....im getting really confussed? and need to know when i delete this that im gonna have to get ANOTHER tuner to turn the CEL off?... can i get it back to true stock??

email H&S and ask them. The only XRT Pro I have installed was on a 6.7 Cummins and I can't remember if it asked me or not.

If you return it to stock it should set an EGR code. That sounds familiar about having to agree to a disclaimer. The H&S that I installed was picked out and bought by the customer after an EGR delete and it was all that was needed to make his code go away forever.

its set at stock oem...i used to be able to use my auto scanner and see if the egr was ok but now the scanner says egr inc? so im not sure whats going on..seems like me if u set it to stock then reinstall the tunes from h&s then the xrt should ask about the egr?..ive installed h&S tunes and stock tuned a couple of times and still the same problem...anyway i can check to see if the egr is working with it set on stock?

you can still buy brand new ones. That's old news.

it does not prompt on the 6.0. It turns it off every time

Yes, I'm sure. You can still buy new units. No shipping to California
