Worse mpg after SCT tuner, anyone else experience this??

I got the livewire TS for my 05 along with a turbo back exhaust. I have custom tunes from a reputable tuner that are suppose to get up to 5 mpg better. Only problem is that all i have experienced is 11 mpg in the city and 17 on the highway. I was getting 13 in the city and 22 on the highway stock. Truck sounds normal and drives great. fuel filters changed OEM regularly. only fuel mods are 6.4 banjo bolts and blue spring. Anyone else have this problem and then figure it out?

The best tunes for fuel mileage are the highest horsepower and use of the right foot. Right now I am running Looney Wild Race Daily and I am seeing mileage in the 15-16 range around town. That is with a DRW with 4:10's so I am completely happy.

I drive rather conservatively with my Looney Wild Track file with early lock up and am averaging over 19 mpg mixed driving.

How were you getting 22 mpg out of a stock truck? Are you going by hand calculations or the lie-o-meter?
