Thoughts/opinions on fuel system
What do yall think about dozer diesel's stage 3 fuel system? When used in conjunction with a fuel/water separator, and it already has an aeromotive a1000 pump, would this support 190/100's without any fuel pressure issues under WOT? Thoughts, opinions, suggestions?

Stage 3 Race Regulated Return Kit with Fuel Bowl delete - Dozer's Diesel Performance
This is the one I'm talking about. I'm asking for a buddy who is buying a truck with that system already in place. He was wondering about it and I have no previous experience with it. |

First off, I don't see anything under that description where it indicates it comes with an A1000 pump as indicated in your first post unless you're indicating the truck already has ALL of that, then I would think it would support those injectors. The question is, what is the truck using to feed the A1000. Most folks would use a low pressure pump similar to an AD150 which is a fuel/water separator all in one, along with a sump. Does that truck still have a fuel bowl? Base on whether or not that stuff is on the truck, I'd say it doesn't have the fuel bowl. Would it support those 190's, just depends on the complete details of the fuel system but I'd say yes it would. Is there a particular reason for wanting 190/100's??

According to the previous owner it has an a1000 pump on it and a low pressure pump/fuel air separator (not sure what brand). I don't know if it still has a sump or a bowl because i haven't seen the truck yet but based on the description on dozers website i was guessing it doesn't. He was looking to step into some 190/100's and an MTW stage 3 turbo in the near future. All of the rest of the supporting mods have been done, to the best of his knowledge.

I don't see what it wouldn't support it. What's the plan for the truck, I mean what's he using it for? There are more practical injectors depending on what his plan is with it. If he just wants a diesel to hot rod, go with it. Custom tunes will help with the fuel but if he wants an MTW Stage 3, the best place to get the answers would be from MTW. They'll know more than anything.
