175 / 30 Require Boost in Fuel Pressure via?
Regulated Return Air Dog or not needed ???
Blue Spring Mod done..... What say the Brain Trust? What monitoring system since i don't want a pillar of gauges? I have a scangauge II but that won't monitor fuel pressure. Denny |

No you don't have to have a rr or complete or semi complete fuel system to run 175/30's. Blue spring update would be a good idea.
Monitorwise I say either dashboss if you have an iPhone, iPod touch or an iPad. If you don't have any of those then Edge Insight CS/CTS is your best bet but much more expensive than the dashboss setup. |

Nothing will monitor fuel pressure stock will it? Thought you had to add your own sensor?

You do have to add your own sensor but that's why he said which monitor because scangauge II isn't expandable to read external sensors like both the dashboss and cs/cts can.
Denny to get the dashboss and read fuel pressure alone will run you $200. $170 for the dashboss and $30 for the fuel pressure sensor on eBay. |

Or you could get the Torque app for Android devices but using a phone for your gauges sucks IMHO. I'll stick with the Insight CTS. |

Actually Mitch it's not misleading at all if you read my first post I already disclosed that information.

X2. Even with an Auto Meter Sport Comp I was right at $200 for my Scan Gauge II and fuel psi. Although my EGT was pretty spendy.

I run 175/30's, or have for 2 weeks now. My fuel psi with stock spring was 53 at idle, just did the blue spring and 6.4 banjos, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Now sits at 65 at idle. I think this will probably br adequate for me, but ill be adding an airdog eventually anyway, and correspondingly RR. I know 2 pumps would definitely put me way over 70psi so id need to regulate it, but i like the idea of 2 pumps, kind of a failsafe.
That was all checked through a mechanical gauge, I just put the sensor in yesterday, ill be hooking it up to me livewire ts. It winds up being cheaper than the edge insight pus an sct tuner, if you already have a x3 I'd just maybe get the cts. I will say the TS holds 10 tunes which is nice. |
