FICM tune or SCT tune?

Looks like Im gonna send my ficm to ficmrepair for a "tuneup". I also see u can get a ficm tune for another $150. Question is and I hope I word this correct, can u run a FICM tune with a sct tune at the same time or is it one or the other...

You can certainly run them together!

I would get the Atlas 40 tune, and run it with whichever SCT tune as you please.
I've heard that a higher FICM tune does not like Strong SCT tunes, or Larger injectors.
Also If you EVER plan on towing, anything over an Atlas 40 tune will get your EGT's higher then you want!

Eli beat me to it. Run both by all means. If you do run more that Atlas 40 just make sure you are all over those EGT readings

I would definitely start with the SCT tunes first becasue they add power AND tune your tranny at the same time...
Plus it adds around 100+Hp compared to the FICM tune adding 40...

But the FICM tune is a nice addtion and helps spool up, and lower RPM response.

BUT... since your already getting the FICM worked on, It might be beneficial to just get it done.

GET BOTH

If/When you get the SCT, Try Tony Wildmans tunes for it... I am loving his tunes and I have ran Eric's, Matt's, and Vivian's tunes...

All of them will be nice, but IMO Tony's are just awesome

Do the sct first. I did the Hercules ficm before I got my sct it was awesome added 100hp a month later I had to get a suncoast tranny. You need the tranny tune from the sct first
