Edge Juice w/att CTS users.

This is a new truck to me and it had a 2 month old Edge w/attitude CTS in it. My question is what level do most of you run it on? My tranny is being built as we speak with ATS clutchs and converter. When I bought it he had it on stock with just the display up.

Unless Brand E made some changes with the CS/CTS line, they don't do ANYTHING for the transmission. I found this out the hard way and got to r&r my transmission.

Surf the forums, power adder Brand E products are no bueno if you have a 5R110.

This.

I wouldn't take it passed level 1. The trans just jumps gears. But then only using the lower power level gets boring and we all end up selling our edge units and going with custom tunes through SCT. What I did. You can go faster than an edge unit on level 5 and the 5r can shift. However I probably got best mpg with edge on lvl1.

Ive been runnin mine on level five, but i have studed heads and 4" exhaust...as for tranny problems i havent felt or seen any codes in mine yet. And as for mpg on level 5 it gives me about 4mpg higher then on level 1...edge is runnin a special to unlock the restricted level for 50 instead of $100 i think that i'm gonna buy the unlock and see what i get....And as for all the people talkin crap about this programmer is bah...I've adjusted the shift firmness all the way up to tweak the tranny...and for all the sct lovers out there that praise the tunes from others...you can get custom tunes for this programmer from bill at php...he custom writes em for edge also...But with all the sct's out there they must be making a good product....so dont take my sct comments as bashing...like they all do about the cts juice with attitude...shift on the fly is also really nice but once your on 5 you'll never leave it...lol except maybe in winter in my case...haha

I didn't want to take the chance, so i Got a SCT X3 and had Eric at IDP do write my tunes. A world of difference. The shifting is dead on. Custom tunes are the way to go.
