MTW stage 2 tuning ?

Waiting for the arrival of a mad stage 2 turbo, just wondering who will be able to tune this turbo the best... Matt at gearhead or innovative or vivians? No injectors or anything yet. I am currently running SRL + and like it alot.

If you like Matt's tuning, stick with it. He can tune it for the stage 2.

I'm not going to steel anyone's thunder here (as they are going to post up a review shortly), but we just got back from a dyno event where we slapped a Stage 2 with a billet wheel on an 04 F250 6.0 that was running Vivian's 50hp Tow tune for a STOCK turbo and had it tow my truck (~7500lbs) on a 20ft flat bed goose neck trailer (7500lbs). Let me just say this. It was a towing MONSTER. It had ZERO trouble spooling and holding boost and we hit some big steep hills. No it was not in the rockies, but it definitely showed us that it is capable of flowing A LOT of air.

Nate, did the stage 2 truck have stock injectors? Or bigger...if bigger, how did the egr's keep in check while towing? If it ever made it to the dyno, did they just run the tow tune...or did they try it with a hotter tune as well...just curious.

Right well in that case ill probly get gearhead first. See how that works. I would also like to try a looney tune as ive heard lots of great things. Just wanted to know if a certain person can tune the stage 2 the best so far?

I know Vivian has worked with the stage 2 as well from talking to her. I'm sure most of the noteworthy tuners mentioned on here have in fact... MTW's are pretty prevelant apparently. I am just running the looney now, stock turbo on 175's...trucks still learning some I think...but so far drives great, shifts perfect, and holds 33 lbs of boost when you roll into it, again stock charger. I haven't tried the looney wild yet, the looney will blow the tires out from under it through 1st and 2nd gear no problem, 3rd if you try to.
