Muffler delete pipe question

Hi - I was wondering what the benefits are (if any), of a muffler delete pipe? I already got rid of the cat, mainly to hear the turbo whistle but it's still not loud enough. Does deleting the muffler cause problems, lower fuel mileage, or add more HP etc?

Depending on what exhaust system you have and what mufler you have. By taking out the muffler in will take out the flow restriction and give a little more HP, unless you have a straight through mufler already.

you should see some gains--but the biggest thing you will see is lower EGT-

lot more turbo sounds and its alot louder then before but its worth it i wouldnt go back
