Edge insight cts egt sensor issue

My insight egt sensor started read low periodically, then just quit reading right altogether @ idle it now reads 75 and normal would be 3-400 f. I checked the connections is the sensor fu#$ed or maybe needs an update?

Check the cable or the daisy chain connector if you have the expandable cable, sometimes those get some junk in them or the cable may have been kinked up and broke a wire. Or if you have an ohm meter, check continuity across the probe.

Also check all your ground cables connections going to/from the batteries/frame/motor. Especially the pass side batt ground going from the batt to the engine block.

A bad ground will cause issues with EGR probes not reading correctly.

well guys, I played with the daisy chain, checked the grounds. No luck, then I figured I'd try change the order of the daisy chaininstead of the pressure sensorspiggybacked on the probe I ran it the other way and success! I dunno why, the terminals were clean and looked good but hey i'm happy.

thanks guys
