AFE W/ PRO GAURD FILTER
So this morning I cleaned my filter. It was very black and dirty. I got the kit to clean it, but after the second time cleaning it I still see some black. How could I get it back to the gold color?

I don't think you will ever get it to look new again... I know I could never get the k&n for my gassers to look new again.

Just re-oil it once its clean, then go buy yourself a pre-filter sock (color of your choice!)

Hey how is that system are you really happy with it. What is the install like and does it clear everything ok. I have really been looking at this one(afe stage 2 w/pg7) after seeing the s&b intake in person. That one is crap. it sucks all the hot air off the radiator with that open design they have.

Its good I like it. Of course it helps me with my gas mileage and performance. Alot of the guys here on the ORG run the AFE stage 2. Must tell you something! lol

I notice their are a couple different types of stage 2. What is the type si, what are the other ones.
