Quick Tricks Auto (Vivian) FICM Upgrade
So, it seems that FICM upgrades are growing ever more popular, I've seen for a couple years about swamps and their 58v upgrade, and now (admittedly late to the party) I've read a lot about tuning FICM's and repairs via FICMrepair.com, ed I think is his name, and apparently now they offer the PHP upgrades/tuning to their rebuild units as well, which had me sold, until talking with vivian about this. I didn't know it, as I'd never seen it mentioned on here before, but Quick Tricks apparently rebuilds, repairs and upgrades fuel injector control modules as well. She even mentioned they do a 58 volt upgrade...with a lifetime warranty, albeit only warranted on the "non logic" side from what I gathered. Anyway, anyone have any experiance with vivian and their upgraded FICM's? I just wanted to get some feedback.
And, even if I don't go with vivians, hopefully this will help get some buzz going about it, and lead to some sales for her...as I've never seen it mentioned on here before (maybe I missed it?) |

Happy with mine... Once you do business with Vivian youll keep going back. She is Great!!! She will only sell what you need and is completly honest in the process. That was my first dealings with her and now I dont go any where else.. including my tuning.

I'll add that in her email, it didn't sound like there was any tuning with it, more just upgraded parts, and optionally the 58 volt deal. Anyway, thanks, and any and all input is much appreciated. Sorry if this was covered somewhere and I missed it. Thanks, Jared.

Yea I've got nothing but GREAT things to say about Vivian. I had a GREAT time hanging out with her and Renae, her business partner.

So, i also just stumbled onto swamps site, and realized theyll rebuild your ficm to either 48 or 58 volts and tune it with your choice of a php tune for the ficm...so that means in fact you can have both a 58v and tuned ficm. That might be the ticket, although at 700 bucks thats not cheap. Idp also has tuning of their 48 & 58 volt ficm, but i think they were more. Other option would be bullet proof ficm and either buy innovative ficm tuner, or send it to php, or like pgreensvt did, tune it with his gryphon. Lots of choices so it turns out...none of em cheap. Theres another thread about this now, so for sake of redundancy ill keep questions here to a minimum, but anyone have any experiance with tuned 58v ficms?

Yeah, shortly after I posted that I ran into the info about your gryphon tuner and all with the bpd ficm, and also read a lot more about the swamps tuned 58v as well. I'm going to give vivian's 58v a try, lifetime warranty, we'll see. I'm also pretty sold on the gryphon ficm tuner from php like you're running...I like that it gives you the options to change it, and if the ficm tanks out and I need to replace the "logic" half of the ficm, I can reflash the tune back onto it myself without having to ship it off somewhere. Thanks Mitch, again, you seemed to have the magic answer (in your feedback in the other thread) that fills in the gaps from all the other threads I've read on the topic.
