SCT S/N as VIN

I recently installed a CTS Insight in my 6.0 Excursion. It worked until I loaded my SCT tune. Now it show the SCT S/N as my VIN and the CTS wont read that my truck is a Diesel. Anyone out there had the same problem?

03-04's don't store the vin in the PCM, contact sct and have them write you a recovery file with the vin in it, and put the truck back to stock using that file. And you should be good to go. You will also notice it takes away a unlock from the sct every time you change the tune because it thinks its a different truck, you only have five unlocks then you'll have to send it in to be unlocked.
