BD Transmission

Just wondering if anybody has put a bd transmission in their 6.0 , I have been having problems with mine. I like to drive my truck hard. I need some info on some trannys, I want to put one in and not worry about it for a longggg time! Only aftermarket tranny I know of is a BD.

Suggestions?

Thanks

I will be picking my truck up today for having the tranny replaced.
They put in a HD rebuilt on at a local shop.
I wish I could have waited to have one shipped my the truck is my bread and butter.

The ones from BTS and NADP are supposed to be the best.

Yea I would stay away from BD. If you are pretty rough on your truck, I would probably recommend looking at BTS, Twisted Diesel, Warren Diesel, and that's about it.

How about Suncoast? Are they not good for Fords?

You can get as good or better for less imo. But their track record overall is good I guess.

Yep as mentioned, I just wouldn't pay the money for a Suncoast tranny. They're good I guess too but I think a BTS unit is what I would do.

I have a BTS trans and let me tell you it is a beast. It will transfer ALL of the power to the pavement. The best description I have ever seen of a BTS trans is "When the TC locks you better have that rig pointed straight." It is true, if its not straight you will find out. Plus they have a 3 year unconditional warranty on them.

Also it only cost me $6400 for the trans, TC, all new fluids and filters installed by TSD.
