First timer which tuner/tuning?

Hey guys just decided to get a tuner and some tuning done on my truck. Its an 05 with 68k miles and my only mods are a MBRP turbo-back dual exhaust with a cat delete pipe. i have the stock headbolts and still have my EGR in place. My truck was just flashed this past week when it was in the shop getting dummy plugs and a stc fitting. Knowing very little on the subject i think i am going to go with a SCT tuner and have tunes done by Eric at Innovative, Vivian's Looney or Matt at Gearhead. I dont want to run a tune that is going to blow my headgaskets or risk my engine. Any preference on a particular SCT unit and tunes/tuner? thanks in advance

looks like i am actually going to go for the looney tune based on reviews and the style of my driving. Anyone give me any insight on whether i should go for a SCT X3 or the SCT SF3?

i was figuring it would be cheaper to buy the SCT separately unless im wrong? im planning on doing ARP studs and a EGR delete bullet proofing in the near future, but i only would use her looney tunes since i dont do any towing/racing

If you buy that SF3 for $341.Then first tune from Vivian will cost you $50, that puts you at $391. Then your second tune will cost you $40, now that puts you at $431. At this point you have two custom tunes for your truck.

6 month from now you get studs and want to try more powerful tunes, look to spend another $40-$65 for a single tune or $100-$165 for a 3 tune package.
