Point me in the right direction

I am new to these forums and would like some insight. I have a 2004 F-250 Harley Davison 6.0 power stroke. I already have a bully dog programmer, I would like some insight on what is my best option for Air Intake upgrade and Exhaust upgrade. I do a lot of towing with the truck everyday. Looking for better fuel economy. Looking for something that will help without breaking the bank. Any help will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!!

Most here will tell yo to get rid of the Bully Dog and go with an Edge Insight for monitoring solution and SCT for tunes. Don't worry about an air intake and any 4" exhaust will do.

+ one on that! I was running a Bully Dog on my 04 HD and decided to listen to everyone one the forum and picked up a SCT it was like nite and day. not so much for the power but for the trans tuning, it shifts so much better with the SCT!

I talked one of my friends with an 04 6.0 into ditching the Bully Dog and getting an SCT. He ended up going with the looney wild and he said it was as much of a power difference going from the BD to SCT as it was going from stock to the BD! He fell in love with the truck all over again and he said its getting better mpg too (which is always a plus). Like Mitch said you need a way to monitor everything especially since you do a lot of towing. Most people go with an Edge Insight to monitor and SCT tuner to program.

I guess Ill pile on to what the other guys are saying. First thing to do is get the EDGE insight. Then figure out were you need to go. With out it your working blind. Kinda like going into the ER with a headace and the doctor wants to start off with a colonoscpy cause he's heard alot of guys have issue's back their....
