Gearing up to change diff fluids

Hey guys I'm getting ready to change the diff fluids on my 05 f350 6.0. However I'm looking for some advice I'm not a mechanic and don't have much machanical experience I change my own oil and fuel filters but this will be the first time I take on diff fluid changes. I've watched some videos and read some threads so I understand the steps my only concerns are what type of fluids and how much should I be running in my diffs? Is it the same type of oil for front and rear? Also I'm looking to buy some g2 dif covers mainly because I like that they have drain plugs and their pretty cheap I've found them for $98 a piece now when buying I'm not understanding the codes they have dana 60 covers but they look like their only for the front they don't get in depth with the description or application type so I'm assuming the 10.25/10.50 covers are for the rear? Can someone correct me if I'm wrong because like I've said this is all pretty new to me. Any info would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance.
